We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology Neurogenetics Lab, led by Prof Henry Houlden, as part of our Junior Medical Explorers camp April 7th to 10th in Marlborough.
Join us on 9th April for a special event where young scientists can explore the fascinating worlds of neuroscience and genetics.
This unique session will introduce the children to cutting-edge research in gene discovery. Older children will learn how advances in disease biology and genetic research are transforming our understanding of the brain and shaping the future of medicine. Younger children will take part in a short, engaging session introducing the basic concepts of genes in an accessible way.
We strive to build a real connection between science and everyday life, helping children see how research impacts the world around them, and this is a rare opportunity to meet leading researchers and experience real-world science in action.
