About Little House of Science

Science Camps, Classes and School Programmes

Our Story

Founded in 2014 in the heart of London, Little House of Science was born from a clear and passionate mission: to satisfy the growing curiosity among children about the natural world. Responding to an ever-increasing demand from young learners aged 3-14 years, we have expanded our reach, now teaching over 5,000 children annually across London and the UK. Our engaging approach to science education emphasises the joy of discovery, making us a leader in science tuition.  We offer science camps, classes, in-school programmes and so much more.

Our Philosophy

At Little House of Science, we believe in fostering a deep and lasting love of science in young learners. We achieve this by employing an innovative approach to science education: interdisciplinary learning.

What is interdisciplinary learning?

It’s all about integrating diverse fields – physics, biology, chemistry, geology, history of science, even art – to create a rich and engaging learning experience. This approach allows children to:

Why is this important?

Traditional, textbook-heavy learning can often feel disconnected from the real world. Interdisciplinary learning bridges this gap, fostering a sense of wonder and excitement about science in young minds.

At Little House of Science, we’re passionate about creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Our experienced educators utilize creative and interdisciplinary methods to nurture a lifelong love of science in every child.

Our Team

Led by co-founders Veronika, Elisabeth, and Liliana—each with deep ties to the science community!

Our Teachers and Science Communicators

Our teaching team consists of highly qualified educators holding Master’s or PhD degrees in fields like Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, and Biochemistry. Passionate about science communication, they are not only teachers but also mentors, fully certified with DBS checks, insurance, and continuous training in safeguarding standards.

At the Little House of Science, we believe that great teaching combines scientific knowledge with the ability to inspire. Our teachers are highly knowledgeable—each holding a degree in a scientific discipline from world renown UK Universities—and deeply passionate about sharing that knowledge with young minds. They inspire children to explore, experiment, and experience the joy of discovery for themselves.

We believe that a genuine love of learning grows when children feel motivated, confident, and encouraged to think independently. Drawing on modern educational thinking, our educators nurture curiosity, encourage children to ask big questions, and develop critical thinking. They create an environment where children are inspired to explore the “why” behind the world around them and to learn through hands-on experience and discovery.

All our teachers are fully DBS-checked, and have ongoing extensive safeguarding, first aid, health and fire safety  training in place to ensure a safe and trusted learning environment for every child.
