MAY HALF-TERM SCIENCE CAMP | London 2021

May halfterm kids camp london

Calling all future scientists, astronauts and engineers!

Little House of Science has just the half term camp for you.

This May half term, sign your budding scientists, astronauts and engineers up for our fantastic science camp. Designed to spark a passion for and bring to life your child’s interest in science; and perhaps even lay a foundation for their future career.

From Tuesday to Friday, 1-4 June 2021 at the Holiday Inn, Kensington Forum (and live via Zoom) we’ll be running a series of classes for children aged 4 to 12 led by our science experts.

These classes have been created to help nurture and grow a love of science in your child and will cover a range of fun and engaging topics that will challenge and inspire inquisitive minds such as the science of building rockets, what’s in our blood and how to become an astronaut!

For those of you who have children who’ve been watching the NASA robot landing on Mars they’ll even be a session on colonising Mars, and discovering more about our closest neighbour the Moon.

Much closer to home, or the oceans to be exact, your young scientists will be diving deep and exploring the amazing world of Sharks and Octopuses and finding the answers to questions such as ‘do Octopuses have emotions?’.

Then, for all of you that have budding engineers at home there'll be sessions investigating bridges and tunnels and how bicycles changed our world.

Your child can join the classes either live on Zoom or in our science classroom (Holiday Inn Kensington Forum, The Academy First Floor, Courtfield Road Entrance, London SW7 4DN).

Location: Holiday Inn Kensington Forum, The Academy First Floor, Courtfield Road Entrance, London SW7 4DN (2 mins Gloucester Road Tube Station)
